Ventura County Artists and Community Organizers are invited to a special briefing on a major public art project taking place next year. The Moon Ditch mural project will transform the 1 mile of concrete canvas next to the 101 freeway with the County’s largest public art project. The mural will explore the intersection of mental health, community wellbeing, and the importance of our environment.
Artists will be invited to create designs, work with the local community to engage residents in painting the mural, and support system engaged young people to develop their skills. This briefing will explain the timeline for the project, how artists and community groups can get involved, and introduce the project team.
Attendance at the briefing is free, please RSVP here to help us plan: RSVP LINK: Moon Ditch Artist Briefing Session
