In the quiet stillness of winter, art can be a helpful tool to help us reflect, contemplate, and heal—and that’s exactly what Sound of Silence aims to do.
Join us on Thursday, December 18, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the Atrium Gallery (Hall of Administration, 800 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura) for an evening dedicated to exploring the intersection of art and mental health.
This reception is free and open to the public to attend.
Just as winter’s silence invites reflection and introspection, this mental health focused art exhibition features works by Ventura artist Cheyenne Proctor and other talented local artists who use creative expression to reflect on mental well-being, personal growth, and the complex connections to our wellbeing. The exhibition runs December 12, 2025 – January 23, 2026 and is curated by Jen V. Benitez.
The VibeWell Atrium Gallery series is presented in partnership with Ventura County Behavioral Health, the County of Ventura, and the Ventura County Arts Council.![]()
