DESCRIPTION:Art has the power to open conversations\, challenge stigma\, and heal—and that’s exactly what Journey Through the Mind aims to do. \nJoin us on Thursday\, October 30\, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Atrium Gallery (Hall of Administration\, 800 S. Victoria Rd.\, Ventura) for an evening dedicated to exploring the intersection of art and mental health. \nThis reception is free and open to the public to attend. \nThis exhibition features works by Andrew Rodriguez and other talented local artists who use creative expression to reflect on mental well-being\, personal growth\, and the complex landscapes of the mind. \nThe VibeWell Atrium Gallery series is presented in partnership with Ventura County Behavioral Health\, the County of Ventura\, and the Ventura County Arts Council.

SUMMARY:Moon Ditch Mural Artist Briefing Session
DESCRIPTION:Ventura County Artists and Community Organizers are invited to a special briefing on a major public art project taking place next year. The Moon Ditch mural project will transform the 1 mile of concrete canvas next to the 101 freeway with the County’s largest public art project.  The mural will explore the intersection of mental health\, community wellbeing\, and the importance of our environment. \nArtists will be invited to create designs\, work with the local community to engage residents in painting the mural\, and support system engaged young people to develop their skills.
